Located
off the west coasts of Sumatra , Siloïnak Resort is built on
a 8 hectares deserted island, with 900 meters of coconut palms fringed
beaches and a wonderful lagoon, ideal for swimming among tropical
fishes.
Build in an authentic Mentawai spirit, the Resort is composed of
a large restaurant and twenty bungalows hosting one or two persons.
Roofs are made of palm leaves and the complex is entirely built
with local tropical red wood. Be aware that services are extremely
simple. Showers and toilets are shared. The sojourn’ interest
is the possibility to discover, during day-trips in Siberut island,
a civilization which managed to keep its traditions and also to
do a lot of snorkelling.
If you have ever dreamt being Indiana Jones, you have found the
right place!
Your stay in Siloïnak island takes place from Tuesday morning
to Tuesday noon. During the day, the island is quite and deserted.
In the evening, surfers make it a little more lively. They leave
each day at dawn and come back at sunset.
Our
offer includes :

- One day-tour by boat to discover Siberut island. Magnificant mangrove.
- One “Surf day-tour” that will allow you to discover
the most beautiful waves of the planet. You will stay in the boat...
You will also have a meal on a desert island with 3 palm trees,
like Robinson Crusoe!
- One massage per day (one hour).
- An aquagym session per day (one hour).
- The visit of a small Mentawai harbour and fishermen village.
Day
1 : Welcoming of the group at the airport.
Transfer to the hotel for a Welcoming Drink. Lunch. Visit of the
city on foot, possibility to buy gifts. Transfer to the harbor at
7 pm. Departure of the ferry between 8 and 10 pm.
In case there is no ferry:
departure by speedboat on Day1 at 11 am and arrival at Siloinak
at about 4 pm. According to the weather conditions, you may spend
one night at the hotel and depart on Day 2 at 5 am, arriving at
Siloinak at about 10 am.
Day
2 to 8 : Siloinak.
Enjoy your stay on our private island: the water in the lagoon is
28° Celsius, sometimes 32°!
Visit
of the tropical forest on Siberut island
Departure on a speed boat at 6 am. Beautiful mangrove crossing...
Meal on a beach. Return to Siloinak in the afternoon.
Visit
of a Mentawai village
Departure at 8 am. ; arrival in the village after 1 hour crossing.
Activities of the day : sharing the Mentawai life : fishing with
women, making sagou, a kind of flour which is extracted from saw
dust ; making of rotang baskets, fabrication of Sagou, making a
bow and poisoned arrows. You can buy authentic bow and arrows, several
kind of baskets, sometimes traditional collars.

Surf » day
You will join a surfers' group on the waves.
After 1 to 2 hours in the speed boat watching the surfers, you will
be abandoned with your lunch and water on a small islet! The speed
boat will pick you up at the end of the afternoon. A splendid solitude
experience!
Massages
A profesional masseur gives you a session per day . The Balinese
massage is a synthesis of the Thaï massage and Chinese techniques
of acupressure. Series of stretching and slowly and deeper massages
are made, using essential oils as clove, cinamon, coco, ginger.
Duration of the daily massage session: 1 hour.
Aquagym
The morning or the evening, according to other activities, aquagym
session in the lagoon.
Duration : 1 hour.
Day
9 Transfer to Padang.
After lunch, transfer to Muara Siberut. The ferry leaves between
8 and 10 pm. In case there is no ferry, departure by speedboat at
5 am, to make sure you arrive at Padang in time. In this case, night
at Padang or Bungus.
Day
10 End of trip.
Breakfast at Padang and transfer to the airport for the travelers
departing the same day. End of our services at 2 pm.
